- ORGANIZER AND PURPOSE OF THE PROMOTION
The company Ostras OÜ (hereinafter, “OSTRAS”), with its registered office at Harju maakond, Tallinn, Kesklinna linnaosa, Ahtri tn 12, 15551 (Estonia), and registration number 17077314, organizes a nationwide promotion called the “PROMOTION” with the aim of testing the Ostras solution in the Spanish market.
OSTRAS may manage and develop the PROMOTION directly, or through third-party collaborators and/or its commercial communications agency.
Participation in this PROMOTION implies full and unconditional acceptance of these legal terms and conditions.
- TERRITORIAL SCOPE AND ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS
The PROMOTION will take place exclusively within the national territory of Spain, including the Peninsula, Balearic Islands, and Canary Islands (Ceuta and Melilla are excluded).
Participation is open to all individuals over the age of 18, residing in Spain, acting as end consumers.
Participation in the PROMOTION is conscious and voluntary, under the sole responsibility of the participant. OSTRAS is not responsible for any misuse of the PROMOTION nor for damages arising from participation.
- DURATION OF THE PROMOTION
The PROMOTION will remain active from the date of its publication until the date determined by OSTRAS, which will be duly communicated to participants. OSTRAS reserves the right to extend, shorten, modify, suspend, or cancel the PROMOTION at any time for justified reasons.
- PRODUCTS INCLUDED IN THE PROMOTION
The PROMOTION applies to all food products purchased in physical supermarkets located in Spain that have an expiration date of 5 days or less at the time of purchase. Each product will be referred to individually as a “Product,” and collectively as the “Products.”
- PROMOTION MECHANICS
Participants will receive a reward in euros for each rescued Product, according to the following scheme:

Steps to participate:
- Purchase up to 3 units of participating products per receipt in a physical supermarket.
- Keep the purchase receipt as proof.
- Scan the QR code on the Ostras homepage or click on one of the following links (English / Spanish) to activate the WhatsApp flow.
- Send the message via WhatsApp to start participating in the promotion.
- Receive a link to the participation form via WhatsApp.
- Complete the form, upload valid purchase receipts (legible, uncut, showing the retailer’s name, the products, the amounts paid, and the date), as well as photos of the product labels with visible expiration dates, and provide the requested information, including the necessary details for processing the refund.
- Accept the Legal Terms and the Privacy Policy.
Rewards:
- Refunds will be made via PayPal or bank transfer (IBAN), according to the participant’s choice when completing the reward request form. The refund may take up to 15 days from the validation of the request.
- Once participation is validated, the user will receive a confirmation email.
In case of errors or incomplete data, the participant will be notified and may correct the information until Saturday of the same week of the request.
- PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

Purpose of processing:
- Manage participation in the PROMOTION organized by Ostras OÜ.
- Validate participation and submitted documentation.
- Process rewards via PayPal or bank transfer (IBAN).
- Send informational communications related to the PROMOTION.
- Conduct market analysis to better understand market trends.
- Improve the quality of products and services offered by Ostras.
- Design and launch new products and services by Ostras.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
Legal Basis:
The legal basis for processing is the participant’s consent, granted upon accepting these Legal Terms.
International data transfers:
Where applicable, and always in accordance with current legislation, OSTRAS may transfer personal data to a third party in a non-EU member state or to an international organization, provided the European Commission has determined that the third country or international organization ensures an adequate level of protection.
Otherwise, OSTRAS would only carry out such transfers if the recipient provides appropriate safeguards, specifically by adhering to the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
User Rights:
Participants may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability by sending a request to the email address: info@ostrasdescuentos.com.
- RESERVATIONS AND LIMITATIONS
Participation through fraudulent means is prohibited.
OSTRAS reserves the right to exclude any participant who breaches these terms or makes abusive or fraudulent use of the PROMOTION.
The PROMOTION is subject to product availability and logistical limitations.
- SOCIAL MEDIA LIABILITY
The PROMOTION is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated in any way with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or LinkedIn. Participants release these platforms from any liability arising from the PROMOTION.
- MODIFICATIONS TO THE TERMS
OSTRAS reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, committing to communicate the new conditions to participants.
- ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS
Participation in the PROMOTION implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions, as well as any interpretative decisions made by OSTRAS regarding them
- JURISDICTION AND APPLICABLE LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. However, for consumers residing in Spain, any disputes that may arise will be submitted to the competent Spanish Courts and Tribunals.
